Combining a wildlife and wellness experience to provide a complete rejuvenating Zambian Safari where private guided game viewing, escaping back to nature, cultural immersion on self-drive, plus relaxation and revitalisation are the key elements.
All our packages include a rental vehicle throughout your stay plus your fully private guided safaris in magnificent South Luangwa.
Early mornings and late afternoons are the best times to go out, but you are free to choose your own timing as long as you follow guidelines of the National Park and directions of your private guide.
Our private guided safaris leave between 06.00-20.00 hours and whether you are just the two of you wishing a very personalised and tailor made safari, or are with a group of friends and family; your Personal Touch Private Safari arrangement will suit your needs and absolutely no strangers will join you!

Game viewing can even continue at the unique Bush-Spa in South Luangwa National Park.
A range of body, skin and facial treatments are available – best enjoyed in the quiet hours between game drives, as you may not want to miss out on safari activities.
Packages offered are without accommodation, giving you the freedom to explore the various options available, ensuring an African Wellness Safari unlike any other. All packages start and finish within the main gate area of South Luangwa, so flexibility is still offered.

This three day Safari & Spa Experience is based on a two night, three day stay in South Luangwa.
But not to worry we can extend the package as well, as this would be the bare minimum for you to enjoy everything South Luangwa has to offer.
The expert therapists at the Bush-Spa, combined with being in the most natural of environments, promise a wellness experience that will utterly relax the body, quiet the mind and rejuvenate the spirit. Included are two days of pampering sessions which will enhance your safari experience and quest for relaxation and rejuvenation.
And last, but not least, included are all private safaris with your professional private guide, setting off at a time convenient to you and your party between 06.00-20.00 hours. Once again, no strangers on your vehicle, this is your private safari!

Arrival to Mfuwe by own arrangement*
Your 3 day Safari & Spa Experience starts at Mfuwe airport, where you will be met by your private guide.
You will be with him throughout your stay for all safari experiences and he can assist and advise you on your self-drive cultural adventures, ensuring a custom made itinerary just for you.
Your expert and private safari guide will share his knowledge during game drives and possible village visits should you wish him to join you whilst self-driving.
Depending on your arrival time, you may wish to take a small drive yourself, exploring the local village and the game management area.
Game viewing activity: Guided afternoon drive depending on your arrival time.
* Personal Touch is more than willing to assist with any and all travel arrangements to and from Mfuwe, be it via Lusaka or Lilongwe in Malawi.
A day of Wellness in South Luangwa
The day may start early with a wakeup call and possible tea or coffee before setting off to meet your private guide for a game drive.
There will be something new around every corner. Amazing wildlife encounters will enthral you until it is time to head back to your camp or arranged accommodation.
After leisure brunch at your own time, it is time to start the first session of your wellness experience. A 120 minutes Aqua therapy session is scheduled which includes not only a heavenly soak overlooking the hippo pond, but incorporates a body glow & touching massage treatment as well.
The late afternoon safari heads out for more wildlife action. Somewhere on route there may be a stop for sundowners so you can stretch your legs and watch the African sunset. The safari continues after dark and there is the chance of seeing nocturnal creatures.

This is the last day of your private Safari & Spa Experience in South Luangwa National Park. Unless you have some more time....
After a light early morning breakfast, it is time to head out for another exciting safari or possible make the most of your cultural experience.
Your guide will stop at the Bush-Spa afterwards for you to enjoy a 90 minutes pampering Spa combination session. Choose either for a Rejuvenating Facial in combination with a Zambian Foot Reflexology or any other Wellness combination of choice.
After your Spa session, you will head back to your accommodation for a light lunch before meeting at a central place to hand back your vehicle and your transfer to Mfuwe Airport about 90 minutes before departure time.

Guided morning game drive or cultural visit & 90 minutes of Spa Treatments.
