Personal Touch Safaris is established and managed by Ben with caring (administrative) assistance of Nathalie.
We both have been fortunate to call this remote part of Zambia “home” for some 20 years now. This after extensive independent travels throughout Africa.
We even guided a few trips and are most road wise between Ethiopia and South Africa and all the fabulous places in between. After years of travel, we “settled down” on the banks of the Luangwa River.
We always feel that Zambia has chosen us and being based on the edge of South Luangwa surely makes for an interesting life, surrounded by nature!
Since 2005, we assist the independent traveller, wanting a fully private safari, preferably on a budget, and not share their dream trip with strangers on their vehicle.
With our professional safaris and through car & camping gear rental, we hope to share our love of this area and are happy to offer a big dose of insider safari and travel tips for the rest of Zambia (and beyond) as well.
And most certainly, we can assist with assembling your dream safari and suggest and book a range of accommodation and itineraries for you, in Zambia and beyond!

By offering personalised services to the current tourist industry in the South Luangwa, Personal Touch Safaris provides income and opportunities for the growing local community around the park.
Realising that tourism should not destroy the natural environment, we aim for the true success; to balance between tourism growth, the well being of the local Zambians and the environmental impact.
